Non-Commercial, Commercial & Non-Reportable
The second Weekly Summary ‘All Participant Types’ format provides a complete view of the COT data. It shows positions for Non-Commercial, Commercial, and Non-Reportable traders (*Futures-Only Reports). This format helps you gain a better understanding of how different groups of traders are positioned in the market. It’s perfect for traders who want to quickly grasp the overall market situation. After reviewing this summary, you can then explore the Detailed format for more specific details on each trader group and market.
If you want to analyze more COT data, then you can access the Simplified Version (Non-Commercial Futures-Only Reports) or the Detailed Version (Non-Commercial, Commercial and Non-Reportable) sections. Furthermore, you can visit the COT Reports Data Analysis section, where you can compare two COT reports side-by-side. With a full-screen view, it’s easy to compare the reports. In addition, you can access a COT Data Charts below the comparison field. I have combined new data with historical data to give you a clear picture of the market trends and movements.
COMMITMENT OF TRADERS COT REPORTS 2025 RELEASE SCHEDULE
The “Commodity Futures Trading Commission” publishes the (COT) reports to help the public understand market dynamics. Generally, the data in the (COT) reports is from Tuesday and released Friday. The CFTC receives the data from the reporting firms on Wednesday morning and then corrects and verifies the data for release by Friday afternoon (*according to CFTC).
